Water Sports
There is almost no water sport that cannot be found on Boracay. Wakeboarding, jet skiing, water skiing, knee boarding, and kayaking among others are all easily accessible through the shops on the beach. Even if you don't find them, you're sure to be approached by someone that will inform you of their water activities services. Boracay is known throughout the globe as among the best spots for kiteboarding, windsurfing, and diving. Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed with signboards that advertise rates for board rentals, diving, and lessons for each (in different languages too).

Windsurfing, Kiteboarding
Bulabog Beach, located on the northeastern part of the island, is the place to be for windsurfers and kiteboarders. The Asian Wind Surfing Tour sponsors the Boracay International Funboard Cup here where pros the world over participate in friendly competition. Drop by between December and early March to catch those northeast monsoon winds!

Scuba Diving
Yapak Beach, also known as Puka Beach, is a great place for deep sea diving. There are dive sites all over Boracay for both beginners and pros. There are many helpful instructors throughout the island that will get you ready to explore your undersea haven. There are currently eighteen first class diving schools in Boracay.

Cliff Diving
There's a great cliff diving resort called Ariel's Point which is located at Baruanga Town; a 40 minute banca ride from White Beach. The cliff is complete with a stair case, ladders and planks built in for exciting jumps that range from 3 to over 10 meters (the grand daddy)!

Bananaboating
This is not so much a sport as a Boracay tradition because it does not require any measure of athletic finesse whatsoever. In fact, as you will learn, the source of a lot of its magical moments is in submitting to gravity rather than trying to conquer it; which can be just as graceful. Bananaboating involves a large inflatable "banana" that several people can mount at once. Hilarity ensues as it is tugged mercilessly across the waves via speedboat. Bananaboat's are usually just sitting right at the shore of White Beach.

Reef Walking
Friday's resort offers a great chance for anybody from kids to adults to literally walk around on the seabed! How does it work? You are fitted with a cute yellow helmet connected to an oxygen tank after which you will descend underwater on a ladder; and then off you go! Just contact the activity officer at the Friday's front office for this great opportunity. If you've got a waterproof camera, this is a picture taking opportunity that cannot be missed!

Parasailing
The rush of being hoisted into the air and the serene view of the island are attributable only to the parasailing experience which can be done with up to three people at a time. You'll usually be approached by someone about their parasailing services. It can get pricey so keep those haggling skills sharp.

Snorkeling
There are dozens of places for snorkeling at Boracay; the most recommended being Crocodile island where a fascinating variety of coral and tropical fish await.
